Brassware Finishes
Gone are the days when the only option for brassware colour was chrome.
Many suppliers now offer brushed brass, nickel, bronze, gunmetal or matt black.

Deck Mounted
A deck mounted tap is one that is installed directly onto a horizontal surface, such as a basin, countertop or bath.
Wall Mounted
This style of tap is mounted to the wall and is paired with a basin or bath without a pre-drilled taphole.
Floorstanding
This type of tap is mounted to the floor and is suited for freestanding baths or basins.
Tapholes
Different tap configurations require a different number of tap holes (abbreviated to TH).
1TH taps are known as mono mixers and control both hot and cold water from one lever.
2TH taps are called pillar taps. In this scenario, one tap controls hot water and the other controls cold water.
3TH taps, like 2TH, have seperate levers for hot and cold and a third tap hole for the spout, which delivers mixed temperature water.
4TH taps are an option for bath taps and come with a pull-out handshower. 5TH taps are similar, but have a 5th lever to divert between the spout and the handshower.

Low vs. High pressure
High pressure taps are suitable for unvented systems or combi boilers.
Low pressure taps, on the other hand, are designed for gravity-fed systems.

Sensor
This type of tap is touchless and operates without physical contact, when motion is detected below the spout. It is a more hygienic option than a standard lever tap.
